So, last night I had to go to a Christmas party in Chesterfield and I now officially hate long, dark and winding roads. Those people are crazy out there! Speeding and riding my tail while taking tight turns on a narrow 2 lane road! Not that city drivers are any better. City dwellers pretty much think any road is a racetrack.
However, at least the roads in the City are straight and I know where I'm going and in what direction at all times. Those stupid curvy streets in suburban subdivisions really confuse me. They seem to be the way they are just to be that way...I can't really see a visual aesthetic or practical reason to their curviness.
I may have to deal with a bit of crime in the city, but at least if I get in trouble, I know which way to run!
