In the wake of last week's storm, we've all seen
Ameren officials phoning in requests of patience and understanding to varous media outlets. I keep hearing the same chorus..."This year, we've been hit with 2 of the worst storms in our company's 100 year history."
Were the storms really that bad, or does Mother Nature just have a way of exposing the ineffective policies and procedures of a large monopoly that has little incentive to keep the power on?
