Residents of St. Louis, I'm begging you, please stop replacing your original front doors with doors that look like these:






I've seen these doors installed on too many city homes (especially in my own neighborhood)! I know they're cheap, but they don't match the architecture of most city homes! Friends don't let friends install ugly doors on beautiful houses.

It'd be nice if the Home Depot on Kingshighway supplied exterior doors that complimented the majority of the homes around the store. If grocery stores can customize what they carry to cater to a certain demographic, couldn't home improvement stores?

Thank you! I hate these doors too. People actually think they are improving the properties by tossing aside the original doors. If someone is going to replace a door at least get one that doesn't look quite so 'Fenton spec house.'

Yeah, those are ugly. Maybe if the entire city was a historic district, it would be harder for people to install these Home Depot/Lowes eyesores.
