I heard him before I saw him. He was standing outside the front doors of the Hampton Village Schunucks, ringing his bell and belting out the carols. He was loud and overflowing with the Holy Ghost. People who put money in the red pot got a "God bless, you're beautiful, REJOICE IN THE LORD!!!" or something equally as inspiring. There were no other carolers in the area, so I can only assume he was having a contest with himself to see how loud he could sing and thank people.

His voice, not so great, but he's one of those who graduated from the school of "The Louder You Sing, The Better You Sound"...with honors. I couldn't stop myself from laughing as I loaded groceries into my trunk. I was parked pretty far away from the Schnucks entrance, I was almost to the McDonalds, but he literally sounded like he was standing right next to me.

Sigh...the holiday season...I'm pretty much over it.
