Ah, the music!
My absoulute favorite song of the moment right now is "The Predatory Wasp of The Palisades is Out To Get Us" - Sufjan Stevens
In not particular order, here are some songs I'm into:
1) Guilty Cubicles - Broken Social Scene
2) Blue Morning - Brookville
3) The Guy That Says Goodbye To You Is Out Of His Mind - Griffin House
4) Follow These Eyes - The Hidden Cameras
5)Trouble - Voxtrot
I've downloaded some various other songs from the artists listed here over the past week, but these are my favorites.
Voxtrot...I've been keeping my eye on them. They sound alot like Belle and Sebastian and a host of others, but they are from Austin, right? They sound kind of derivative of many other greats, I'm waiting on a full length album before I pull the trigger on the purchase. However, just listening to the 30 second spiels on iTunes...Trouble is indeed the stand out track. Have you purchased the new Shins album? It debuted at #2 on BillBoard. Maybe they will sink shitty pop just like Nirvana (et al) did in 1991.
Oops, forgot to say thanks for the Griffin House lead. I have never heard of them/him and after researching it a little, I had to by Czech Republic as I prefer the rock songs.

Yeah Griffin House is good, I turned on a person at work to him. And you're right about Voxtrot and Belle & Sebastian, I was thinking the same thing on my way to work today as I listened to "Trouble"
I haven't bought the Shins album yet, I'm not sure why because I've liked what i've heard!
