Shrewsbury or Reed, who deserves my vote? I thought I had all of this figured out a while ago, but the BJC lease and some other things have led me to look at both candidates a litte more closely than I had.

If any of my readers can, in a non-biased, facts-only, way give me the pros and cons on each candidate I'd be really grateful. Also, if you could direct me to an independent site or some reading that presents each candidate's accomplisments and views I'd appreciate that as well.

I want to vote & I will, but I must admit, I have a strong "what's the point" feeling inside.

I am leaning towards Shrewsbury after Reed's recent mudslinging campaign attempt (via his mailing). Mudslinging is a fast way to lose my vote, frankly.

Yeah, I got that postcard the other day and was really turned off by it. I really just wanted some facts and all I got was a poorly designed, trashy postcard.

In the same pile, I had an evelope from Shrewsbury asking for contributions to his campaign...campaign contribution letters are the only pieces of literature I've recived from him

Going simply on gut feeling it seems to me that Reed is trying to work his way up the ladder to Mayor. The thing I don't like about that is he is going to give out a lot of favors to ensure support later on. That seems dodgy. Shrewsbury seems content where he is, kind of like a Supreme Court justice appointed for life. He's less likely to play politics. Just my impressions.
