I almost vomited when I read
this article.
The huge Chesterfield Valley mega strip mall is less than 10 miles away from O'Fallon's new development. Sheesh, all O'Fallon & St. Peters consist of are strip malls, a lot of them empty, and now O'Fallon is going ahead with this monstrosity?
Talk about regionalism and smart development. Basically, STC county wants to yell a big "Fuck you!" to STL county.
I half expect St. Charles County to release a video entitled "Developers Gone Wild."

"We won't be leaking so many tax dollars to St. Louis County," he said. "It's great for the city because we'll be giving residents a great place to shop nearby, and we'll be keeping sales tax dollars in city limits."
Does this surprise you? If they could blow up the bridges between STCC and STLC, those assholes would.
They don't want to cooperate with STL County or City and this hurts the entire region.
I say, we give them their wish, blow up the damn bridges and fuck THEM.
City dwellers: pay attention. IF you can buy in the city: DO IT. Even STL County is better than St. Charles County. They have no intention of cooperating with the rest of the region so that we can all get what we want. O'Fallon will be a dump of empty strips malls in ten years. I say, so be it!
