Yes...and, no. Yes, you can bring it into the Library, but, no, you cannot take pictures...without an appointment. However, if you want to take pictures of that spectacular art glass in the cieling at the top of the stairs, just lose the guard and non-chalantly ascend. I got good shots without a flash.
