Today, at lunch, some friends and I took the helicopter tour of...well, really just in front of the Arch and the industrial area along Broadway next to Soulard. We paid $50 a piece for a 5 minute ride...I was able to snap a
whopping 14 pictures. And, unfortunately, I had to take the photos through glass. With the time constraint, hazy, hazy sky and the glass it wasn't exactly a photographer's dream & I didn't really capture anything original, I barely even remember the ride, but it was neat to hover over the river and snap this:

So, yeah, that helicopter ride thing is a total tourist rip (it costs $100 to take the 15 minute tour of south city, FYI) but at least I can say I did it.
The lovely Eads and other friends.
Soulard, City Hospital, the Continental Building and Midtown all visible.
Your average postcard.
I like the composition of this shot.
