You know the situation, a friend has a friend who has a friend who will be perfect for you. You ask yourself "What do I have to lose?" so you jump in without getting much information about said person who, again, is perfect for you. The next thing you know you're standing in front of someone 25 years your senior who has an excruciating case of the "Can't keep my hands off you" with a secondary condition called "I've already planned a vacation for the two of us" thrown in for extra fun.

Being single sucks sometimes, but at least it's not traumatic!

I didn't want it to come off like I'm dissing people older than I am because I'm not at all!

While I would not be interested in pursuing a relationship with someone in their late 50's, it was the lack of respect for my personal space that was my major malfunction.
